Alex Song left the training tour at St. George’s Park for familial reasons. As soon as the team’s plane touched down, the Cameroonian player caught a flight back home and thus will miss out on the opening days of training in England.
It’s worth noting that Song joined the team on Thursday along with his fellow World Cup participants, Iniesta, Pedro, Sergio, Xavi, Jordi Alba, Piqué and Rakitic.
