The Spanish internationals all returned for the Wednesday morning training session Iniesta, Messi and Vermaelen were once again able to take part in some of the exercises
The players all gradually returning to the club following the international break. Sergio Busquets, Pedro Rodríguez, Jordi Alba and Munir from the Spanish squad that played FYR Macedonia on Monday night were the latest to get back and they were all involved in the Wednesday morning session at the Ciutat Esportiva.
As in other sessions this week, Iniesta, Messi and Vermaelen all did some of the group exercises, but Masip is still working out on his own. Jérémy Mathieu, who is having trouble with his right ankle, was also missing. Although officially a B team player, Munir joined the first team session, as did his colleagues Samper and Adama.
So the only internationals that have yet to report back to the club are Neymar, Rakitic and Rafinha, who all had international matches on Tuesday night, There will be another training session at the same venue on Thursday morning as the team finalises preparations for Saturday’s Liga clash with Athletic Bilbao.
