Luis Enrique has six first team players plus five from FC Barcelona B for the first session after the two-day break Rafinha and Vermaelen did specific exercises, the latter on the pitch
The first team was back at work on Tuesday morning on pitch two at the Ciutat Esportiva. After giving his players two days off, Luis Enrique ran a session involving six first team players (Masip, Montoya, Douglas, Adriano, Alves and Xavi) and five from Barça B (José Aurelio Suárez, Samper, Joan Román, Adama and Dongou). The injured Rafinha was absent doing specific exercises, while Vermaelen appeared on the pitch but worked out in isolation.
Seventeen first and second team players are currently away on international duty, namely Ter Stegen, Bravo, Piqué, Alba, Bartra, Mascherano, Mathieu, Sergio, Iniesta, Rakitic, Pedro, Sergi Roberto, Luis Suárez, Messi, Neymar Jr, Munir and Sandro.
The first team will train again on Wednesday at 11.00 AM CET.
