Coached by Charly Rexach, a team of Barça legends and former players were in Panama on Saturday night for the Legends Cup against Real Madrid. The game was won by Real Madrid with a lone goal by Congo six minutes from time. The exhibition match, played at Rommel Fernandez stadium, featured many former Barça players like Sergi, Rivaldo, Kluivert, Belletti, and Ludovic Giuly.
The first and second halves were polar opposites. Madrid was superior in the first half, while Barça took control of the second. Field conditions were less than ideal as torrential rain fell throughout the encounter and made even the simplest acts look difficult.
