4 milion followers on Facebook

FC Barcelona’s roller hockey team now has four million followers around the world, and thus becomes the first of Barça’s professional sports teams to reach that milestone. After winning a host of titles in recent months, the team has seen a spectacular rise in its following. 40% of the followers are aged between 18 and 24 years, proof of how popular the sport is among the younger generation.

The news comes on the back of a 3-0 win in the OK Liga away to CP Manlleu and before starting the European League against Benfica at the Palau Blaugrana.
