FC Barcelona unstoppable against Vendrell (5-1)

Ricard Munoz's squad play their game and roll past a feisty Vendrell with ease

FC Barcelona rolled to another league victory on Saturday, this time with a 5-1 rout against a good Vendrell team that came out of the chute fighting.

The opening minutes were even, as both sides looked to take control. A torrid pace led to a lack of precision on attack with both defences struggling to keep up and the goaltenders getting more action by the minute.

As Vendrell were closing in on the opening goal, Panadero scored on a counterattack halfway through the first period. With both sides continuing to create dangerous chances, Raül Marín got Barça's second goal on a tremendous individual play.

From there on it was all Barça, with Xavi Barroso adding the third just two minutes later. After halftime Pablo Álvarez got the fourth goal of the afternoon, and then Raül Marín added the fifth.

Vendrell did manage to get on the board with a late penalty shot.
