The team are back in Barcelona

The first team are now back in Barcelona. The flight to take the party back to the Catalan capital took off in Washington at 7.15am CET and landed just before 2.30pm CET at El Prat airport.

The arrival will see the end of the 10 day tour to the United States in which time the team has visited Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, cities in which they have played a total of three matches;  against LA Galaxy (2-1), against Manchester United (1-3) and against Chelsea (2-2, 4-2).

The team’s next pre-season fixture comes on Sunday 2 August at the Artemio Franchi in Florence against Fiorentina at 9.00pm CET.
