Eighteen players report for duty on Monday morning as the FC Barcelona handball team gets into the swing for the preseason
Europe’s handball champions are back at work. On Monday morning, 58 days after lifting the seventh trophy of an amazing 2014/15 season, FC Barcelona got started on their preseason. They did so with 18 players, 16 from the first team and two from Barça B (Fran Revuelta and Álex Márquez), in a session in the Miniestadi.
The squad reported bright and early at 8.00am CET for their routine medical tests, and after breakfast worked out for 30 minutes under the watchful eyes of Toni Rubiella. After that, the two new arrivals for the new campaign, Kamil Syprzak and Marko Kopljar, appeared in a press conference in the Palau Blaugrana.
This evening the players will be heading for Encamp (Andorra) for a five-day training camp as they get into shape for the games to come.
