Barça Lassa were undone by a supremely effective Anadolu Efes 92-70 in Turkey in the Euroleague. The blaugranes were always playing catch up in the game and despite reducing the home side's lead to four points in the third quarter, it was not to be for Svetislav Pesic's team.
The contest began in even fashion with Anadolu leading 11-10 after 8 minutes. However, a 13-2 stretch for the Turks saw them lead 24-12 with 10 minutes played. In the second period Barça Lassa were unable to find their fluency but a late flurry saw them only down by 42-31 at half time.
In the third quarter the blaugranes threatened to get back in the game at 44-40. Nevertheless, it was a mirage as the home side imposed themselves once again to make it 64-53. In the final period Anadolu raced away once again with Shane Larkin ending the game with 37 points. Barça Lassa battled until the end but were unable to avoid a 92-70 defeat.
