Barça Lassa 30 - 25 Rhein Neckar Löwen: Big first half propels Catalans

With nothing to play for in the final game of the group stage, Barça roll to a comfortable win at home

FC Barcelona Lassa used a hot start to roll to victory, 30-25, over Rhein Neckar Löwen in EHF Champions League action at the Palau Blaugrana on Saturday afternoon.

Barça led by eight goals at one point and received a great performance by Kevin Möller in goal.

In the second half, the visitors cut the deficit, but Barça Lassa showed no signs of giving in and notched another group stage victory despite playing without Sorhaindo, Mortensen and N'Guessan.

Barça had already wrapped up first place in the group, making Saturday's a game little more than a formality.

In the final minutes of the match, Barça's 18-year-old youngster, Àlex Pascual, who normally plays for the reserve team, made his EHF Champions League debut.
