Dani Alves receives medical all-clear to face Levante
Luis Enrique can once again call upon the Brazilian full-back for Sunday's match while youngster Gumbau also makes the 18-man roster
Luis Enrique has announced his squad for Sunday's match against Levante at 8.30pm CET at the Camp Nou. The FC Barcelona manager has called upon 18 players for Week 4 of La Liga, with the news of Dani Alves returning to the squad from injury being the main highlight. The Brazilian right-back has been out since the first match of the season against Athletic Club but received the all-clear from the club’s doctors on Saturday to make the squad. As announced in his press conference, Luis Enrique has also included academy player Gerard Gumbau.
While Alves returns, Barça are still without Douglas, Bravo, Vermaelen and Rafinha through injury as well as Piqué who remains suspended.
Squad to face Levante: Ter Stegen, Masip, Alves, Jordi Alba, Mascherano, Bartra, Adriano, Mathieu, Sergi Roberto, Sergio, Rakitic, Iniesta, Gumbau, Munir, Sandro, Suárez, Neymar Jr and Messi.
