The Argentinian will miss the games against Getafe and Villarreal but will be back for the trip to the Bernabéu
Javier Mascherano has been handed a two-match suspension in La Liga after being sent off in the 83rd minute of the game with Eibar at the Camp Nou last weekend. That means he will miss the matches at Getafe and at home to Villarreal, but will be able to play in the Clásico against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on November 21.
The Club presented allegations in the referee’s report after listening to the observations of the player himself. “He told us that it was more an act of frustration and that he never meant to insult anyone” said vice-president Jordi Mestre.
