FC Barcelona Lassa top Dominion Bilbao Basket, 66-57

The Catalans come away with a big win that gives them momentum going into the coming El Clásico with Real Madrid

In another marathon game in the Liga Endesa, Lassa FC Barcelona came away with yet another triumph, defeating Dominion Bilbao Basket by a score of 66–57 on Wednesday night at the Palau Blaugrana. It is Barça's second home win in four days after they beat Joventut in Sunday's Catalan derby.

This time, though, the surprisingly tight game was not decided until the fourth quarter. Bilbao held a five-point lead at halftime, but the Catalans, led by Justin Doellman and Pau Ribas, outscored the Basques by 14 points in the second half. The victory gives Barça some momentum heading into this Sunday's league El Clásico against Real Madrid.

Ribas led FC Barcelona with 17 points while going 3 for 5 from beyond the arc to go along with 4 assists. Justin Doellman had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Ante Tomic's 12 rebounds were a game-high.

Bilbao's Dairis Bertans scored 19 points and had 3 assists in the losing effort.

FC Barcelona outrebounded Bilbao, 45–33.

Barça are now 11–1 in league play this season, the same record as Real Madrid, but currently sit in third place due to point differential. First-place Valencia are still undefeated.
