FC Barcelona to have 19,301 tickets for the Copa del Rey final

The Club also wants the match to take place earlier than set time in order for fans to return home at a respectable hour

Representatives of FC Barcelona and Sevilla met at the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation where they reached an agreement for both teams to have 19,301 tickets for the Copa del Rey final.

FC Barcelona director of professional sports Albert Soler was in attendance, and was pleased to reveal the prices of the tickets: "Tickets range from €50 to €240. We must take into account that they are cheaper than the final to that was played here four years ago at the Vicente Calderón”.

Soler also revealed the agreement between both clubs to convince those responsible to reconsider the time of the final, initially set for 9.30pm CET.

"We asked that the Federation to be the mediator of a meeting in between Sevilla, the club and the Federation to convince the operator that it is too late to host a final as the next day is a work day,” said Soler.

He added: "We want the fans to travel to Madrid and to be able return to their homes at a relatively respectable hour”.
