Second Social Day at the Camp Nou

About 70 boys and girls from Salt enjoy a day at FC Barcelona’s facilities thanks to an agreement with Probitas

This Sunday, about 70 boys and girls from the town of Salt, beneficiaries of school lunch grants bestowed by the Probitas Foundation, came to Camp Nou to attend a Social Conference. This is the second meeting of the season within the framework of the We Do Social Values project, which is promoted by the Social Area of FC Barcelona, with the support of the FCB Foundation.

The day began with a talk given by former player Paco Clos in the Auditori 1899, along with Social Commission director Victor Küppers and FC Barcelona nutritionist Maria Antonia Lizarraga. Sergio Vallecillo, who is the coordinator of Personalised Player Care, was the master of ceremonies, during which hygiene and healthy nutritional habits, in addition to social values, were promoted.

After lunch, the boys and girls visited the Camp Nou Experience, accompanied by monitors from Futbol Net, part of the FC Barcelona Foundation. After the tour, activity continued on the fields adjacent to the Miniestadi, where the day ended with sporting activities and the visit of the director, Pau Vilanova.

The Social Conference is one of the most important activities carried out by the Supporters Club Solidarity Council within the We Do Social Values project, which has allowed more than 700 local children enjoy the Barça experience for a day.
