FC Barcelona Lassa B top Melilla 4–3, end the year with a victory

It was a big comeback win as team finishes the season in fourth place in the league

The FC Barcelona B futsal team, whose last game of the season couldn't have been any more exciting even if the script had been written in Hollywood, stormed back from 2–0 first-half deficit before holding on for a gut-wrenching 4–3 win at Melilla.

The hosts went up early on goals from Javilillo and Kiko, but FCB kept calm and carried on, getting a pair of goals from Esteban to draw level before the intermission.

A second half goal from Oussama broke the tie and Esteban notched his hat trick to give FCB Lassa a 4–2 lead.

Former Barça player Mendiola struck back for Melilla to make it a one-goal affair but the Catalans hung on for the season-ending victory.

FC Barcelona's successful campaign, underpinned by the best defence in the LNFS's Second Division — having given up a league low 2.65 goals per game — proved they were more than able to compete with teams designed to play in the First Division.
