The summer holidays are over for Barça B as Gerard López’s men get back to work at Ciutat Esportiva from 11 July.
As many as seven new players have joined the team in recent weeks, replacing the five who have departed - Robert Costa, Sergio Juste, Juan Antonio Ros, Godswill Ekpolo and Agostinho Cá.
Former Betis B man Ignacio Abeledo, Gimnàstic de Tarragona keeper Alberto Varo, Sevilla Atlètico defender Jose Antonio Martínez and Atlètic Sanluqueño forward Marc Cardona have signed on. The same goes for full-back Jesus Alfaro from Alcoia, and winger Francisco José Perdomo ‘Nili’ from UD Las Palmas reserves.
Barça B will have six friendlies during pre-season, the first of which is on Wednesday 20 July at Escala.
First up, however, will be the routine medical examinations at Ciutat Esportiva on Monday, followed by the opening training session on Wednesday.
