FC Barcelona do double duty to kick off 2016/17 pre-season

The available first team players, as well as 14 from the reserves, hold the first sessions of the campaign as Tello and Montoya take part in the afternoon

Ciutat Esportiva hosted the first training session of the new season on Wednesday morning, as the team looks to get back to full fitness ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Luis Enrique begins his third season in charge of the first team with the available first team squad members who on Tuesday had their medical examinations.

A total of 13 players from Barça B also joined the session: José Suárez, Marlon, Martínez, Borja López, Nili, Carbonell, Gumbau, Aleñà, Perea, Alfaro, Abeledo, Cámara and Cardona.

The team held a second workout at 6.30pm, when Cristian Tello and Martín Montoya joined the group.

Kaptoum joined the baker's dozen from Barça B that trained in the morning, bringing to 14 the total number of reserve players up with the senior team on day one.
