Messi scores 20 goals in the league for the 11th season in a row

The Argentine has reached the figure every season since 2008/09

After the 2-2 draw against Valencia at Camp Nou, Leo Messi has reached another milestone this season thanks to his two goals. The blaugrana number 10 has now scored 21 in the league in the 2018/19 campaign, the 11th season in a row he has done so.

The run began back in the 2008/09 season after the Argentine had scored 10 in the league in the previous campaign. 2011/12 was a spectacular season for the Argentine in which he scored 50 league goals. A model of consistency, Messi’s goals have never dried up and at the beginning of January he reached 400 in the competition with a strike against Eibar.
