Alex Pascual joined the youth system after previously playing as goalkeeper for the Under-9s football team at Barça. He switched to an outfield role on the left wing, moving his way up the ranks before debuting for the first team on December 4, 2018, in a Liga Asobal game at the Palau Blaugrana against Teucro. That same day his friend and teammate, Mamadou Diocou, also maid his first appearance. Pascual scored 6 goals from 8 shots.
During the 2018/19 season he also debuted in the Champions League, in a match against Rhein-Neckar Löwen (March 2, 2019). He would appear in 10 games -all in the Liga Asobal- scoring 24 goals. His strong showings and an injury to teammate Mortenson opened the doors to him featuring more regularly the next year, playing 39 games and scoring 100 goals.
Alex Pascual is a left winger who is fast and has a strong shot. He has a strong leap that compensates for his smaller stature, and he can find space well. The youth system product has previously been captain of the second team and a regular with the first team.
