FC Barcelona booked their place in the IHF Men's Club World Championship final in emphatic fashion, beating Morocco's Montada Derb Sultan 51-15 in their final group-stage match. Carlos Ortega's side, already assured of a spot in the final before the game, delivered a dominant display and set a new club scoring record in the competition.

The blaugranes quickly recovered from an early deficit and took complete control through a devastating 8-0 run, led by an inspired Dani Fernández, who finished as the team's top scorer with 12 goals. Barça reached halftime with a commanding 23-8 lead, having also benefited from an excellent performance by goalkeeper Sergey Hernández, who recorded 11 saves.

Adrian Sola added 11 goals, while Djordje Cikusa scored 10, earning the MVP award.  The Catalans eventually surpassed their previous Super Globe scoring record of 50 goals when Cikusa netted Barça's 51st goal in the closing seconds, sealing a remarkable 51-15 victory.
