Tight and intense

The blaugranes fought back through N'Guessen and Neilsen's saves but Sporting retained their advantage as the teams went in at half time with Barça 15-13 behind.

Courage brings the title

The second half was a thrilling affair. Carlos Ortega's Barça side pulled back the deficit to make it 19-19 early on after the restart. Sporting eased in front 31-29 with just minutes remaining but latest goals N'Guessan made it 31-31 and at full time the title came down to a shoot out.
