Barça maintained their unbeaten record in Europe by seeing off Helvetia Anaitasuna in the first game back after the international break. The game was tight enough in the first half, but the Catalans would go in for the interval with a 5-goal lead following a late 3-0 streak.
Carlos Ortega’s side really found the power switches in the second half to stretch their lead to eight, which would ultimately be the final difference between the sides. In between, Anaitasuna actually managed to cut the gap down to four, but Barça managed to get their feet back on the pedals and eventually clinched a comfortable victory. Blaz Janc led the scoring with eight goals, while Makuc also impressed with five in the second half alone.
