A great victory against PSG (30-27). Barça won two very valuable points in a tremendous tussle in the Palau Blaugrana. They remain top of the Champions League Group B table after five rounds of matches (four win and one defeat).
High intensity from the off
The game started out with a high level of effort and commitment from both teams. The goalkeepers took centre stage in the first half, with a low score at the break (13-13) and Gonzalo proving tough to beat in the Barça goal.
Barça have the final say
The second part saw N'Guessan and Dika Mem go on scoring runs, propelling Barça's attack, and combined with Pérez de Vargas continuing his goalkeeping exploits - stopping 17 shots in the game - Barça managed to close out the game fairly comfortably.
Ultimately, a tough test for Barça and the prestigious win over PSG keeps them at the top of the Champions League Group B table.
