Barça 30-29 HBC Nantes: Classy comeback

The blaugranes come from behind to win an exciting encounter and keep up their unbeaten record

With top spot already guaranteed, Barça came from behind to beat Nantes 30-29 in a vibrant encounter to stretch their run to 12 wins in a row in the Champions League.

Xavi Pascual's side were not at their best in the first half and the French visitors took advantage to go 16-12 in front before closing out the half at 17-14 up.

Barça reaction

The blaugranes, despite the fact that first place was already in the bag in their Champions League group, came back into the contest with goals from Dika, Aleix and then Ariño getting them in front at 22-21.

Goalkeeper Möller was inspired as Nantes sought to regain their advantage but late strikes from Ariño and Janic swung the contest in the blaugranes favour to allow them to record a 12th win in 12 matches in Europe this season.
