Barça collected a crucial victory at the Palau Blaugrana on Tuesday, 37-30 against Veszprém of Hungary, and are practically through to the quarter finals of the Champions League. That’s 10 wins out of 10 in Europe this season!

Barça led +4 during the first half before the Hungarians found a late flurry to leave the sides level pegging at the break on 15-15.

As the game progressed, Barça still couldn’t shake off Veszprém, but with Aleix Gómez in inspired form (scoring 10 in total) they eventually clawed their way to +5 (24-19).

Pálmarsson also joined the party big time and by the end of it, there was no way back for the visitors – and Barça are virtually through to the last eight!
