Barça have made it eight wins out of eight in the EHF Champions League, on Wednesday winning 35-32 at the home of Aalborg Haandbold in a game they led from start to finish, almost always with a cushion of around four goals. The effeciency in attack and solidity at the back was outstanding as Palmarsson led the scoring with six goals.
All the same, things could have taken an unexpected turn for the worse right at the end when the Danes suddenly found new legs and found themselves tied at 31-31. A game that Barça looked to have safely tucked away was in danger of going astray, but Palmarsson and Cindric found two more goals when they were needed the most and victory was secure.
