Comprehensive win for Barça by 39-22 against Villa de Aranda on their return to action following the recent international break. Xavi Pascual's team recorded their 10th win in the Asobal League in a game that they comfortably dominated. Möller was outstanding in goal and Diocou (7) and Ariño (6) provided the goals for the blaugranes.
The home side set their stall out early on. moving the ball quickly and hitting Villa on the counter attack. With keeper Möller as solid as ever, the defence backed the rest of the team up and a lead of 7-3 soon became 15-7 by minute 20. Nine unanswered goals left the score at 24-8 at half time with game over as a contest.
