Barça v BM Benidorm: Home sweet home (43-29)

A second victory for the Catalans in less than 48 hours. After they defeated Alborg in the Champions League, Barça emerged victorious in a league match

Just 24 hours after the victory in the Champions League against Alborg (42-33), Barça saw off BM Benidorm (43-29) in the league. Blaz Janc and Dika Mem, both with five goals, were the top scorers in Xavi Pascual's team.

Unbeaten

Match day 10 of Liga Sacyr ASOBAL saw Barça take the game to Benidorm from the start, but by the break they were only six goals ahead (23-17). However, in the next 30 minutes, the Catalans stepped up the intensity both in defence and attack and the team from Alicante couldn't stay with them.

It was Barça's eighth victory of the season meaning they remain unbeaten, both in the league and the Champions League. The last of three games in less than three days comes on Saturday, October 31 at the Cisne BM track (5.30pm CET).
