Wherever they have to play, the blaugranes just keep winning. Barça took an impressive win by 43-25 against Fertiberia Port Sagunt in a league game that was played at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper due to the futsal Champions League Final Four being held at the Palau Blaugrana.
The opening minutes of the game were a tight affair and at one point the visitors were 10-9 ahead. A well called time out by Barça coach Xavi Pascual allowed his team to regroup and a tactical rejig in defence led to greater fluency on the counter and a 19-14 lead at half time.
Second half storm
After the break the floodgates opened and Aleix Gómez (11), Mortensen (7) and Luis Frade (6) helped themselves to goals with the blaugranes again causing untold damage on the counter attack.
The 43-25 win maintains Xavi Pascual's side in first place in the table with their next game on Saturday (12.00pm CEST), also at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, against Recoletas Atl.Valladolid.
