Barça 30-28 MOL-Pick Szeged: Last gasp victory

A cracking finale sets a Champions League record of 13 games in a row without defeat

Barça had to work hard for it but they got the win against MOL-Pick Szeged (30-28) in a game that ultimately meant nothing as a direct quarter final berth is already secure, but the unbeaten record at the Palau, stretching back to December 2015, was something worth defending, and with just five minutes they were trailing the Hungarians by two and it looked in real danger.

But a 4-0 streak right at the end meant they ended up setting an all-time Champions League record of thirteen wins in a row, and against the only team they have lost to this season, way back in the opening game of the group.

The only downside to the evening was an injury to Dika Mem that puts him in serious doubt for the Copa del Rey.
