Barça 44-35 Aalborg Handbold: Leading the way

Tremendous win for Barça at the Palau Balugrana against a very good Danish side in Aalborg Handbold. A week after beating the same side at the Jutlander Bank Arena, Barça were again on emphatic form and are two points ahead of PSG in the battle for direct quarter finals berth.

After storming off to a 5-1 lead, Barça did allow Aalborg back into the game at 11-11, but they were back into a strong lead by the break (22-17).

Palmarsson, Dolenec and Sorhaindo were all outstanding in making sure that was to be no repeat comeback from the visitors, and the nine-goal margin was a fair reflection on a wonderful display of handball.
