After four wins in a row in the league, the blaugranes are held away in La Mancha
In the final game of the year the Barça futsal team were not able to extend their winning run after being held to a draw away at Valdepeñas. The run of four wins in a row came to an end as Esquerdinha and Dyego scored the goals that earned Andreu Plaza's team a point in an open encounter.
After chances for both teams in the early minutes, it was Barça who took the lead with a goal from Esquerdinha. Nevertheless, the side from Castilla-La Mancha equalised with just 40 seconds left in the half with a goal from Matheus.
In the second half the game followed a similar pattern. Both teams had chances to take the lead before Sergio González made it 2-1 to Valdepeñas. Almost immediately Dyego levelled things up for Barça thanks to an assist from Marcenio.
Ferrao struck the bar as the blaugranes searched for the winner but it was not to be and Barça ended 2020 with a draw in the league to end a run of four wins on the bounce.
