You’ll rarely see a side have so many more chances than the opposition and end up losing as Barça had on their trip to Peníscola on Saturday. They totally dominated from start to finish but just could not turn that into goals and somehow or other ended up getting beat.
Amazing goalkeeping from Molina and bewildering efficiency in front of goal saw the home side convert practically the only chances they had to win the last game of the year.
The result means Barça go into 2020 in second place, just one point behind leaders Movistar Inter who, as luck would have it, also lost this weekend to Jaen.
