Barça Lassa overcame Palma Futsal in a penalty shoot out in the first game of their LNFS semi final play off tie. Keeper Juanjo made a crucial save to allow Dyego to score the winning spot kick to claim victory for the blaugranes.
The two sides were evenly matched in normal time with Ferrao and Marcenio scoring for the home side and Mati Rosa and Taffy finding the net for the visitors. Goalkeepers Juanjo and Barrón were both outstanding over the entire course of the match.
Barça Lassa started in excellent fashion with Ferrao getting his 50th goal of the season thanks to an assist from Marcenio to make it 1-0. However, just minutes later a fine finish from Mati Rosa saw the visitors draw level. Palma keeper Barrón made an excellent save from Ferrao to prevent the blaugranes getting in front and the visitors took advantage as Taffy put them ahead just before half time.
The home side set about finding the equaliser in the second half and a great combination between Marcenio and Esquerdinha allowed the former to make it 2-2. Chances came for both sides but neither was able to take them as the game went into extra time. Barça keeper Juanjo made two excellent saves to deny Hamza then Paradynski before Barrón, his Palma counterpart excelled in saving a double penalty from Ferrao.
