Osasuna Magna 3 – 2 Barça Lassa: Defeated on the road

Barça went up early, but the hosts came back in a frenetic second half

Barça Lassa fell 3-2 to Osasuna Magna at the Anaitasuna Pavilion in LNFS action on Saturday afternoon. Osasuna got goals from Saldise, E. Martel and Rafa Usín to cancel out an own-goal from Binho and a strike from Dyego. It was back and forth all game long and the goalkeepers were superb, but in the end the hosts ended up taking the three points.

Barca Lassa went ahead just 31 seconds into the game, when Binho scored an own goal. Osasuna Magna, playing with a raucous crowd behind them, tried to level things up quickly, but ran into a stellar Dídac, who repeatedly thwarted the Navarrans, including chances by Rafa Usín, Binho and E. Martel. In the second half, Dídac made another big stop on Bynho.

But in minute 27, Dani Saldise tied the game up, and then in the 28th, Eric Martel beat Dídac with an impossible shot. One minute later, in the 29th, Rafa Usín scored Osasuna's third goal in three minutes to give his team the lead.

Barça went back on the attack but ran into Asier time and again. Esquerdinha had the tying goal on his foot in the 33rd, but his shot hit the post.

Barça added an extra attacker in the final minutes and had multiple chances to draw back level, but could not break through. Thus, the battle for the first place will be decided on the final matchday.
