FC Barcelona Lassa took an important 8-1 victory against Antequera at the Palau Blaugrana on Friday night, which enables them to continue topping the table with just three games to go in the regular season. Goals from Esquerdinha, Arthur, Ferrao and Dyego established a hefty advantage in the first half, which was then increased through a brace from Rivillos and strikes from Ferrao and Roger after the break.
From the outset, Barça Lassa made their intentions clear, scoring within 7 minutes thanks to Esquerdinha. Saura equalised for the visitors, but it would be their only goal in the game.
Arthur extended his run of consecutive goalscoring games to seven, taking the score to 2-1 in the process, whilst Ferrao volleyed in to make it 3-1 on 19 minutes. The first half was rounded off with a Dyego goal, and Barça Lassa led 4-1 at halftime.
The home side kept piling on the pressure, and Mario Rivillos got in on the act. He grabbed a brace that marked his first two goals of the season, following an injury that had kept him out of action for almost 9 months.
The second half had a slower pace than the first, but Barça Lassa were just as effective, and Ferrao and Roger proved this with their goals late on.
The 8-1 victory takes the team into the league game against Inter this Tuesday in excellent form, topping the table with 61 points.
