Sevilla 0-4 Barça: Victorious again
Second Liga F game, second win for Barça Femei, who cruised past Sevilla at the Estadio Jesús Navas. Brugts, Pina, Marta Torrejón and Vicky López got the goals on a special night for Pere Romeu, who took charge of his 100th game as Barça coach.
Brugts opens the scoring
Barça dominated from the outset, controlling possession and pressing high. It took just nine minutes to make the breakthrough, Caroline Graham Hansen beating her marker and delivering the perfect ball for Brugts to tap in at the far post (0-1, min 9).
Barça take control
With over 70% possession, Barça were firmly on top. Sidney almost doubled the lead with a long-range effort that Sullastres tipped onto the post, before two goals in first-half stoppage time put the visitors firmly in command.
Graham Hansen provided her second assist of the night for Pina (0-2, min 45+2), before her corner was flicked on by Pajor for Marta Torrejón to make it 0-3 (min 45+5).
Vicky makes it four
The pattern continued after the break and Vicky López added the fourth in the 55th minute, finishing after Kerolin won possession and Pajor supplied the assist (0-4). Sevilla thought they had pulled one back shortly afterwards, but Laura López's effort was ruled out for offside.
Kika returns and Martina González makes her debut
Romeu made several changes in the second half, including the return from injury of Kika Nazareth, while Martina González made her Barça debut. There were no further goals as Barça comfortably saw out the 4-0 victory.
Two wins from two means a perfect start to the Liga F season. Next up is Atlético Madrid at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Saturday 12 September (7pm).
