Espanyol 2-3 Barça: The derby is Blaugrana!

The first half was a constant tug of war between the local rivals. Barça quickly opened the scoring through Crnogorcevic (0-1, min. 5), after she hunted down a rebound that came from Lieke Martens' shot. Espanyol reacted and were awarded a penalty after Andrea Pereira fouled Baudet, and the latter didn't miss from the spot (1-1, min. 17).

Within 10 minutes, Espanyol went ahead after Paños spilled the ball and Szymanowski took full advantage. The game swung again soon after, Aitana's cross finding Patri to dispatch a superb volley to close a frantic first half (2-2, min. 38).

Barça continued to press in the second half but despite having the clearest chances, they were unable to add to their tally. The visitors dominated possession, and with time running out their reward arrived. Melanie's cross saw a number of ricochets and rebounds before Mariona headed home in the 93rd minute, earning Barça a 28th consecutive league win in the process.
