Sevilla 0-2 Barça: Full steam ahead

It’s now four wins out of four in the Liga Iberdrola after Barça topped Sevilla 2-0 on Sunday with goals from Jennifer Hermoso and Asisat Oshoala.

It was a game that Barça attacked from the off, but they were to face a difficult task with the Andalusians so rock solid and well organised at the back. Chances went astray, including one for Hermoso, but she soon made up for that when converted a perfect Mariona assist after 38 minutes.

Barça continued to have the most chances, and Sandra Paños was on fine whenever the home side did cause trouble. And Barça’s superiority eventually paid off when Oshoala robbed the opposing keeper of the ball and tapped home into an empty net with three minutes on the clock.
