FC Barcelona train ahead of Mönchengladbach trip

The first team holds session at Ciutat Esportiva on Monday in preparation for Matchday 2 of the Champions League

After Saturday’s 5-0 win at El Molinón, FC Barcelona are turning their attention towards the Champions League as they prepare to face Borussia Mönchengladbach on Wednesday (8.45pm CET).

The team had a day of rest on Sunday, but Luis Enrique and co. were back on the training field on Monday to focus on Matchday 2 of Europe’s elite competition, where they will be aiming to follow up the opening day win over Celtic, with another at the Borussia Park.

All available first team players took part, as did Barça B members Marlon, Kaptoum, Ignacio Abeledo and Gumbau.

It was the last session in Barcelona before Wednesday’s game, as the team will set off for Germany on Tuesday morning.
