FC Barcelona's flying visit to Doha was full of frenetic activity. The Qatari capital hosted the Catalans in order to play a friendly against Al-Ahly FC which ended in a 5-3 victory for Luis Enrique's men. The city showed its passion for Barça from when the team landed until they left approximately 24 hours later.
Headed by the president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, the group was accompanied in at all times. In fact, the ex-Barça players Xavi Hernández and Seydou Keita; members of the Qatari royal family; the CEO of Qatar Airways, Abkar Al Baker; and the athlete Mutaz Essa Barshim all visited the team in their hotel before the Qatar Airways Cup game.
