For a lot of people in the Northern Hemisphere, the summer holidays are only just beginning, but for the FC Barcelona players they are already coming to an end.

For what were mainly players that weren’t involved in the Russia 2018 World Cup, there’s already been a three-game American Tour, while Sergio Busquets, Leo Messi, Gerard Piqué and Jordi Alba have been back at work on the Ciutat Esportiva training ground for some time now, joined on Saturday by Ousmane Dembélé, who cut short his vacation to start training early.

And on Monday, the rest of the squad will all be reporting back for duty, namely Ivan Rakitic, Samuel Umtiti, Luis Suárez, Philippe Coutinho, Yerry Mina and Thomas Vermaelen.

Dembélé and other new arrivals will be taking the routine post-break medicals first thing in morning, followed by two training sessions, one at 9.30am CET and the other at 6.30pm CET, both behind closed doors.
