FC Barcelona captain Andrés Iniesta spoke to the media following the team’s win at the Vicente Calderón on Sunday.
The midfield maestro called it a “fundamental” win where the team “knew it would be a tough game because they always play to their limit”.
Iniesta remains hopeful of turning things around in the league, saying that “even though Madrid has a slight advantage, there is plenty of La Liga to play and we have a chance”.
“We are a team that needs to play better than the opposition to win, but I think that the style has not changed a lot, it will always be like this at Barça.”
Speaking about Luis Enrique, he added that "we are a thousand per cent with him. I hope he continues with us to keep winning titles together, as we have done so far.”
Finally, the Barça midfielder spoke about the Champions League tie, saying that "we know that against PSG it is very difficult, but we have enough to cause them problems despite the result," he concluded.
