The FC Barcelona first team flew back from Galicia on Sunday night following the 2-1 defeat at Deportivo, and after getting a good night’s sleep were back at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday morning for the routine post-match recovery session.
All the available members of the first team squad were present, along with Barça B’s Dani Romera, Wilfrid Kaptoum, Borja López, Nili Perdomo and Àlex Carbonell.
Once it was over, the players left for a much-deserved two-day break. In a week that brings the second half of the Champions League round of 16 second legs, Barça have no midweek fixture for once, which means they should be feeling nice and fresh for Sunday’s Liga clash at home to Valencia (8.45pm CET; tickets here).
Luis Enrique will not be gathering his players again until Thursday at 11.00am, the first of three days of training in the build-up to what will be the last game before the international break.
