French trio of Umtiti, Dembélé and Digne together at last for Tuesday training

Jasper Cillessen and Andre Gomes also report back for duty under Ernesto Valverde as this weekend's derby with Espanyol draws nearer

The three Frenchmen at FC Barcelona are together at last. Since new signing Ousmane Dembélé arrived at the club, he has not had the chance to train with compatriots Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne as they have been off on duty for the national team.

Following the majestic win against Holland and the not-so-majestic draw with Luxembourg, the two players reported back for duty under Ernesto Valverde on Tuesday morning, and were delighted to see how well the 20-year-old Dembélé, nicknamed ‘Mosquito’ by his international colleagues, is settling into his new surroundings -

Jasper Cillessen and Andre Gomes were also back from games for the Netherlands and Portugal as life starts returning to normal at the Ciutat Esportiva and the squad focuses on this weekend’s derby at home to Espanyol (TICKETS).

But the human resources are still somewhat limited, so Jokin Ezkieta, Aleñá, Cucurella, Vitinho, R. de Galarreta, Jose Arnaiz and Fali of Barça B were drafted in again to help boost the numbers while waiting for the other internationals to arrive back at their club.
