Barça have begun preparations for matchday four in La Liga with some good news. Gavi and Gabriel Jesus both took part in Thursday's training session. Following the win over Rayo at Spotify Camp Nou, the blaugranes returned to work with the aim of being at 100% for the trip to Mestalla.

A first for the Brazilian and a return for the Andalusian

There is no doubt that Gabriel Jesus and Gavi were the two main names from the session, which also featured Ïu Martínez from the U19A squad. The new FC Barcelona striker completed his first training session as a Barça player, while, the La Masia midfielder returned to action after missing the wins over Athletic Club and Rayo Vallecano.

The first training session of the week also featured a visit from a group of 30 La Masia residents, accompanied by director Andrei Xepkin.

The countdown to another La Liga fixture has begun. The objective is clear: to keep winning and maintain top spot in the league.
