Gabriel Jesus, another Brazilian striker ready to score for Barça

Now, with the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, another chapter is added to that connection.
Rivaldo, Evaristo and Neymar lead the way
Indeed, some of the greatest forwards in Barça history share the same nationality as the new arrival. Top of the list is Rivaldo, who scored 130 goals for the team between 1997 and 2002. A key figure over five seasons, he became one of the great attacking references in club history.
Behind him come two players separated by more than half a century but united by an extraordinary eye for goal. Evaristo de Macedo scored 105 goals between 1957 and 1962, while Neymar Jr reached the same figure during his time at the club between 2013 and 2017. Those three make up the podium of Barça's highest-scoring Brazilian forwards, but while Gabriel Jesus must now forge his own path, he has a long list of illustrious names to follow.

And the man in fifth place is perhaps the example he can learn most from, as he will share a dressing room with him as one of the team's leaders. Raphinha has scored 79 goals since arriving in 2022, including five this season.
