September is here. The month brings the return of the Champions League, as well as more La Liga action as Barça look to maintain their strong start to the season. And the first test is a special one, as it will be the club's final visit to Mestalla before Valencia move to their new stadium. This Sunday 6 September, at 4.15pm CEST, it's Valencia v Barça.

Champions League returns

Three days later, the Champions League comes to the Spotify Camp Nou for the opening matchday. Feyenoord, on Wednesday 9 September at 6.45pm CEST, provide the first European test for the blaugranes. And after that first Champions League assignment comes a triple helping of La Liga in just six days.

Five games in fourteen days

Barça will return to the Valencia region to visit Levante (13 September, 4.15pm CEST). Then, on 16 September, comes the only home league fixture of the month, with newly promoted Racing Santander visiting the Catalan capital (9.30pm CEST). From Barcelona it's then on to the Sánchez Pizjuán to face Sevilla on 19 September at 9pm CEST.

That will be the final game of the month, coming just before the first international break of the season. So, four La Liga games and the opening Champions League fixture, all packed into just fourteen days.
