Sergi Roberto to undergo surgery in the coming days

The first team player Sergi Roberto will under surgery in the coming days for the injury he sustained to his rectus femoris muscle in his right thigh. 

The procedure  will be carried out by Dr. Lasse Lempainen in Turku, Finland under the supervision of the Club's medical staff. When the surgery has been carried out, the Club will issue a new press release. 

This season, despite missing recent matches due to his injury, Sergi Roberto has featured in 12 matches for Barça, 9 in the league and three in the Champions League. He scored on the opening day of the league season in the 4-2 win over Real Sociedad at Camp Nou and in the 2-1 victory over Getafe, also at home.
